I can honestly say that after my operation I could run a marathon! Right now I have a moon boot on my left leg because I had a bone growth and the orthopaedic surgeon had to chip it away in surgery. I am so gatvol of not putting any pressure on my foot. Thankfully, this coming Monday, I can start getting my ankle wet; I can also start putting a bit more pressure on it... Can't wait for Monday.

Why Does Lord Voldemort Have No Nose?

I was watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix when I came about this question. Was it because Peter Pettigrew only gave his hand and not his nose? I don't know! That is why I'm going to find out. I'm going GOOGLE it!!!

Now, I've Googled it and I've come up with some interesting results; well only one result:

Fishing

Hey everyone,
Sorry I didn't blog yesterday, but I have a good reason why I didn't post.
I went fishing with my friend.
Guess how many fish we caught?
0? 1? 8?

No. We caught 18 fish!

It divides into this:

So there's my reason why I didn't post.

I am actually starting a kind of book (but I wouldn't get hopeful for it being published...). It's a non-fiction how-to book on batch coding.
I knew you could do different types of code on notepad, as I can do basic HTML, so I Googled
How to make a notepad game. Guess what I came up with?

I quickly learnt it and started doing different things. My biggest project that I've done with batch programming is 25000 characters/4250 words/29 pages long.

Halo Reach

Hey everyone,
Halo Reach is one of my favourite games, so I decided to write a review about it.

Halo Reach was developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The game play is brilliant; amazing storyline that makes you want to play 24/7. The graphics are a new generation. They are amazing!! The aliens are hard to beat, but not hard enough for the game to get boring. So the AI is quite good and the movements are very realistic. The controls are quite simple, but a bit different to Call of Duty. The weapons include an assault rifle, (which is the main UNSC weapon.), a handgun, and frag grenades. Sometimes sticky grenades. (They stick to enemies.).
All in all Halo Reach is an amazing game and I say you should  buy it for $23.00 at Amazon, (link provided), right this very minute!!

The Sentimental Sniper

a.k.a. War is Hell

My position had been carefully chosen after hours of painstaking selection. From here I couldn't be seen. My camouflage was perfect.

My face was blackened and streaked with green and with a handful of the soft dirt that surrounded my position. 

My long-range snipers rifle was similarly blackened and wrapped with the same grass in which I lay comfortably concealed.

I blended naturally into the thick grass on the crest of a hill that afforded me a wide vista of the terrain that lay before me.

Here I had lain for hours in No Man's Land; that area between the two advancing armies.

I idly wondered how many lives would be lost over the battle for this worthless piece of scrub-land.

Land on which shepherds had grazed their flocks for centuries, now a prized possession to both countries.

How many sons would never be returning home to their families after this skirmish?

How many wives and children would be without a husband and father, alone and lost, left to struggle for their very existence.

I shook my head to clear these unwelcome visions. 

I'd a job to do, and I had to do it well.

There could be no time allocated for maudlin thoughts to cloud my judgement which was just as well, because I'd just sighted the first of the advancing scouts. 

He moved quickly and deftly, using every inch of cover he could find.

My orders were to let the first three pass unharmed. 

My colleague, suitably concealed about two-hundred metres behind me, would take care of them. I was to take the next three out. A proficient   sniper should be able to kill three targets before being detected.

Lying stock-still I watched the first three pass close to me. 

They looked so young. The sweat was running down their faces, and they were being driven by fear. 

They were scared! They had been well trained, but the fear in their eyes showed that they were novices in this war game.

The next group appeared in my sights and I had a good field of fire.

Now I'd only to hear the crack of my colleagues rifle to commence my own onslaught.

Yes, war was hell when you allowed your sensitive side to struggle to the surface. 

Will it ever end?.

One Heck of a...-Short Story

One Heck of a…

I loaded the Winchester Model 1200 shotgun. As I looked down the sights a bullet bounced off my helmet. I love helmets. When I saw the enemy, I fired.

KABAM!!

“Great, just great; he was too far away.” I muttered.

My buddy fell down to the ground being hit with several AK-47 bullets.

“JAMES!!” I yelled.

This time I was determined to take them down. I counted to three and stood up firing and cocking like crazy. One of the two enemies went down immediately while the other one was shot in the arm.

“Hey!! You’re out!!” I shouted to my last enemy.

“Vitals only!” She replied.

‘Aaah man’ I thought as I ducked.

She had a LSAT light machine gun. Very powerful. I reloaded. I didn’t aim when I fired; it was only pure luck that I hit her full on in the chest. Thankfully she had one of those protective vests for females on. Otherwise I would have been burnt toast.

That was one heck of an airsoft game.

Jim was walking ahead on that humid day. It was so hot; all of the men in the 221^st Infantry Regiment had taken their long sleeved shirts off. We were talking and joking when a clarion bang sounded throughout the valley. Jim shot backwards with the red spray.

“SNIPER!!!” I yelled.

There was no point in retrieving Jim’s body, we all knew the bullet had been aimed precariously and had gone through his heart killing him instantly. We dove behind any cover we could find. A bullet ricocheted of the boulder I was hiding behind. From the sound of the gun, I guessed it was a SVDK Russian sniper rifle.

What were the Russians doing here!? Our fight was with Afghanistan! I took out my M249 light machine gun.

“Aarghh” I grunted; it was unloaded.

I pulled back the cocking handle; I then attached the magazine to the machine gun. I put the extra 4 1/2 inches into the feeding tray and I slammed the feed tray down.

I then counted to three and stood up to look down my barrel through the sights.

‘Where are you?’ I whispered to myself.  ‘I’m only going to shoot you.’

“There we go!” I said when I spotted him.

I made sure he was on my sights. I pulled the trigger and my shoulder was thrown back.

‘It never fails to surprise me how powerful this gun is.’ I thought.

The sniper fell off the cliff; his body bounced off various edges. It finally came to rest on the floor; twisted out of shape. I scanned the area; looking for more snipers. It looked clear, but then Magan, one of our Greek transfers, shot back twisting to the left. I rushed over to him; he had been shot in the arm. His arm was shattered.

“MEDIC!!!” I called out.

Donovan ran towards me and methodically began wrapping a splint on Magan’s arm. Magan didn’t say anything, but it was obvious he was in a lot of pain. His face was distorted to the cry of pain. I told him to get to the back. I looked for the other sniper, when I saw him I shot, but missed. As I ducked into cover I felt a crushing blow to my head.

Thankfully I had my helmet on when the 9.3x64mm bullet slammed into my head. I tripped and fell forwards. I belly crawled to cover. I then checked myself to see if I had been injured in any way. Before I could shoot the sniper he fell from his top, I never found out whether he slipped or if he was shot.

All of us in the 221^st Infantry Regiment waited for ten minutes. There was no sign of any more snipers. Only 1 casualty was good. I looked away when we walked past Jim’s body; I didn’t like war. I only joined the US Marine Corps because I thought it would be a good way to get a scholarship. I thought we would be touring Afghanistan, but now this. I wasn’t suited for fighting.

All of us walked for 2 hours. I took the last sip of water in my canteen; 40® C. Way too hot for anyone. I stopped suddenly when I heard rumbling; it was definitely not thunder as there were no clouds. I clicked.

“TANKS!!!” I yelled the loudest I could.

I ran back, but I knew that the tanks would outrun us. When I looked back I saw it was the only heavy tank produced by the Soviet Union: the T-35. I was suddenly thrown forward when the 76,2mm shell hit the ground before me. As I tried to get up I noticed that only Stanley was in my sight. He ran towards me and picked me up. I tried to ask what happened to the rest of the 221^st Battalion, but I couldn’t get the words out of my mouth; I wanted to avoid the fact, but I knew everyone else was dead.

I could see the 45mm machine guns pointed to us; I just waited for the hot unbearable pain             in-between my shoulder blades. Stanley and I were thrown forwards again, but this time it was because the Warhorse HMH-465 United States Marines Corp helicopter had fired a missile into the tank.

“The 2^nd Battalion 18^th Infantry Regiment is here.” I said to Stanley.

I was surprised that the 18^th Infantry Regiment had heard all the gunfire.

 A lot of lives were lost in what Stanley and I called The Death Valley.

2 days later we found Donovan walking around about 2 km outside our camp; he was delirious, but unharmed. He was given the chance to leave and he took it without hesitation. He is now back in Kansas with his family. Me? I still fight because I want revenge for all the lives that were lost, including my brother: Tyler.

So I decided to try and change my blog into a short stories collection, (most of them written by me, but an occasional one written by someone else; I will state their name to give them credit.), My first one will be posted soon.

I recently, (28 min ago), uploaded my first Youtube video!

How to turn a person into a zombie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, first of all, this post contains blood and freakishness. So for sensitive viewers DON'T LOOK!!!!!!

Things you're gonna need: picture of your selected persons head,

a picture of the skull,
picture of blood,
picture of wound.


First Step: Open up Paint.Net. If you don't have it, it is free to download.

 Second Step: Get a profile pic of your person that you're gonna ZOMBIFY!! I chose Angelina Jolie. And load it.

 Step 3: Load your blood.

 Step 4: Load your wound.

 Step 5: Load your skull.

  Using the "Magic Wand" Tool set the tolerance to about 20% or less and select the white area AROUND the skull and del.

 Add a new layer and double click it.

 Set the style to overlay. And you can rename it if you want. I named it "Skull Layer".

Select the skull and paste it on the new layer. Keep the canvas size.
Swap the layers.

 Set the tolerance on the magic wand to about 46% and select one area of the skin.

 Go to adjustments and select brightness/contrast. Set the brightness to about -44 and the contrast to about 56

Use the eraser tool and erase the area around the mouth.

Create a new layer and set the style to overlay.

  Select more on the colours toolbox and select a tranparent red. Make it a bit darker using the R section.
Now use a brush and paint over some areas in the mouth. Don't forget to do it on the 3rd layer.

 Do the same thing that you did with the skull with the blood. Copy it.

 Paste it onto the third layer.

 Lasso select the wound and copy it.

 Paste it onto the 3rd layer and resize it any way you wnt.

 I made the eyes red but you can make them what ever colour you want. Just remember to use the brush and a slightly transparent colour.

 I changed the hue/saturation on the other zombies head.

And you're basically done. you can edit the other people in the photograph if there are and if you want to.
